| Richmond, VA—Whether you are starting your own business, or just looking for a better job, Nia, Inc. of Greater Richmond has a program that can help. In partnership with the Community Care Ministries of The Saint Paul’s Baptist Church (SPBC), Nia has opened the Workforce Development Center at SPBC. Anyone looking for a job can access this center, which is currently housed in Community Care Office Suite.
The Workforce Development Center is a project funded by the VA Department of Social Services. The center can be accessed by contacting Rev. Jaime Duncan, Interim Community Care Team Leader. Anyone interested in accessing the Workforce Development should first schedule an appointment with Rev Southerland. After scheduling an appointment, participants will be allowed to utilize a designated computer to perform a job search, check out books related to performing a job search, access the “One Stop” at the Virginia Employment Commission, or receive employment counseling.
