WOMEN'S HEALTH
Successful Women's Health Programming
In 2015, we developed a response to a Request for Application with the Foundation for the National Institutes of Health (FNIH) and Nia’s own burden to address the health and well-being of women living in the Greater Richmond region. With that response and funding from FNIH, we launched Healthy Greater Richmond: Women, Take Charge! with a focus on heart health.

Over 600 women pledged to take care of their hearts.
EXPANDING HEALTH INITIATIVES FOR WOMEN
